forthe3boys Posted August 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2009 Any thoughts on this cabin? It's CC. Thanks, forthe3boys
alcpa1 Posted August 31, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2009 If you have more specific questions we will be glad to help. We have been on the Millie and a few of her sisters. We have been on deck 9. You have the standard CC cabin. The cabin is 191 sq. ft. with a 41 sq. ft. balcony. The beds will be set up as either twins or a double and can be easily changed by your steward. There will be two small bedside tables with drawers. There is a love seat and a coffee table. There is also a chair by the wall unit with mirror and shelving and drawers. There should be two chairs and a small table on the balcony. The cabin is in a good location...not too far from the midship stairs and elevators. I am not quite sure from the deck plan if your cabin is under the wider Lido deck overhang. On every X cruise we have been on it always seems that the starboard doors are closed and everyone enters the Lido from the port side so this will help cut down on any noise from above. The casual evening dining has also been port side and farther aft. I hope this has helped.
gracieonthebeach Posted September 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2009 I keep getting different view about cabins on deck 9. Some say noisy others not, large over hang? Does any one know anything about this cabin, 9095? Noise, overhang? I'm getting nervous if we made the right choice.
alcpa1 Posted September 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2009 You will be under the overhang but don't fret about it. We love the deck 9 cabins on the Millie class ships. You will get plenty of sun and if the skies should open up you can still take advantage of your balcony. Deck 9, and your cabin location, will be quiet and you are relatively close to the stairs and elevator. If you are a light sleeper consider ear plugs. Don't worry and just enjoy your cruise.
