Having watched a video of the Queens Grill Restaurant, I dont envy the maitre d´ having to explain guests why they have to sit at an inferior table having paid a premium for the highest category of cabins. I have seen people complaining about tables on the QM2 which where much nicer. Its not so much about the bench seating, even though I wonder why they reintroduced it after getting rid of it on QM2, but some tables look like being placed in a small utilitarian corridor along a wall of serving stations. And due to the long room, not much chance to interact or look at the other guests. I hope the QG appears nicer in reality, but I doubt it a bit. The two wider areas appear nicer though.

Of course, if you want to handle your luggage alone you are free to do so. You can disembark early then before all the luggage is layed out in the arrivals hall.

A free upgrade is not very probable if you have already your cabin number. It can happen up to the point of check-in at the pier. Usually in the last 1-2 weeks before sailing. But I wouldnt count on it.

Try to get accessible Q7 grade. This will do.

I used it last October. It was very fast and reliable. Its Starlink as far as I know. Reception in Suite and Public areas very good.

Thats just a booking system indication glitch. Seen it often booking QG any ship.

These are fantastic spaces to stay in. If its worth the price for you, is your decision...

No single grills suites. 3rd person yes, some suits have a 3rd bed (sofa). Not possible book lower grade and dine together in higher grade. For single occupancy almost same price as double.

Thats not true, especially not for the QM2. Ships designer Stephen Payne elaborated often why the interior layout was designed the way it ways, and acknowledged it was not ideal. But due to the special needs of an Atlantic liner, the solution was the best available. It got worse though, in my opinion, by adding the cabins on deck 2 and three and removing the passageway.

I used to get a new world club pin on every voyage, as far as I remember. Have they been discontinued? I didnt receive one on my last two voyages i think...

Thank you! The selection was the standard QG form, and I didnt ask for anything else. But on previous voyages I remember asking for something not on the list ( Johnny Walker Black Label) was no problem...
