plum24 Posted September 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Has anyone had this cabin? Is it better to be on port side? Is it noisy location? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cb at sea Posted September 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2017 Port or Starboard...doesn't matter! Port is the left side of the ship. Starboard is the right....

crystalspin Posted September 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2017 Plum: This cabin has staterooms above and below, so no noise issues. There is no rule of thumb about which side is better -- 'port' is not always even "toward the port" anymore if it ever was. I would choose based on location (shade for the tropics, sun for north Atlantic) or intended use of balcony on a primarily north-south route (sun or shade for either morning coffee or afternoon wine). If you're asking about the Dec. 14 cruise, you get half and half of whichever, as it's a roundtrip N/S itinerary. I think starboard is the right choice, you MAY get some views of land on the first half of the trip and no chance on the return -- according to the map of the route that is. plum24 Posted October 15, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted October 15, 2017 Has anyone stayed in this cabin? I've searched the forum, and find it odd that no one has stayed in it.. hope that doesn't mean there's something horribly wrong with it ;)
