We've been sailing on Royal Caribbean for the past several years but are coming back to Princess next week for a short cruise on Coral. We're used to boarding RCI around 11am but I'm not sure that's possible on Princess.

What's the earliest we can expect to board? We're staying at a local hotel and plan to get a cab at 10:30. Is that unrealistic?

When are rooms usually available?

Princess starts check in about 11am. Boarding 11:30 or noon. First to board are those with priority - passengers in suites and passengers who are Elite or Platinum in the Captains Circle.

Cabins are ready when boarding starts.

Depends on the port, looks like Coral is going out of LA? Typically you can check-in around 11 or earlier, and be onboard around 1130. As long as there's no delay in customs, etc.
