pethi Posted February 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2017 I've seen several posts mentioning that due to bad weather, they were unable to tender in Cabo. As we'll be there in November, I was wondering whether the chances of this happening is higher in certain months
CruiserBruce Posted February 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2017 The chances of problems are probably higher in hurricane season- July-September-ish-. But any tender operation, any time, any where, can be subject to issues with the seas. It is not predictable. That being said, we have been to Cabo 3 times, (December, March, April) with a fourth time next October. No problems.
goober87 Posted February 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2017 We've been multiple times in February. The only issues we have had (and it was awhile ago) is the number of available tenders. If there are more than two boats in the bay, tender service can suffer, although I've seen some cruise lines use their own tenders (life boats). The bay can be choppy, even on a beautiful day. We've never been stuck on the ship, but water taxi rides can bumpy and the surf on Medano beach can be rough/strong and the beach steep. Not sure it would deter me from going.
