I tried to book excursions on myAzamara and the prices are shown in CAD. Is it possible to pay in USD currency for non-Americans? I would rather pay in USD even though I live in Canada.

I have read that the currency displayed reflects the currency that you used to book your cruise.

I would imagine you might be able to get this adjusted by your TA.

This happened to us as well. We paid for the cruise in CAD, and the excursions (oops, "land discoveries") were quoted in CAD as well. I too would have preferred USD, but at the time I didn't think of it.

I have credit cards that do a straight exchange (ie. don't charge any forex fee like Azamara does when they convert currencies), plus give 4% cash back on foreign currency transactions.

Also, I have US credit cards and bank accounts I can use avoid currency fluctuations and exchange fees altogether when I want. I always prefer to be charged in USD when it's a US merchant.
