ISO a Family beach in St. Kitts

Recommended Posts

We have done St. Thomas/St. Maarten several times but now planning a day at St. Kitts and we just want a great beach...and a bar...and chair rentals and to get there safe! Where should we go?!

We LOVE:

Trunk Bay

Emerald Bay

And Le Gallion

On the other islands

We like ship wreck or some call it frigate beach. The chairs are free, there is a nice little beach bar and flushing toilets. Prices is great about a $10 pp cab ride from the peer. As for Violet for you cab ride. She always treats us well.

Based on TripAdvisor ratings we went to ShipWreck Beach last summer while on Allure. It was HEAVEN.

We had food and drinks, DD12 spent lots of time reading in hammocks and swimming out to the dock. DS14 walked the beach and looked for the monkeys. Nana loved sipping her pina colada with almost no one else on beach and DH and I did a bit of everything. We also stopped on St Thomas and went to Sapphire Beach and thought ShipWreck was so much better. Easy to get to in cab, Beautiful drive over--probably our favorite day of the cruise!

We are on St Maarten this summer--what do you recommend?

Brookmill18,

Thank you!

We did a private tour through Bernard's Tours 3 cruises in a row there. We like spending the morning (2-3hr) at Le Gallion and then going to the sunset bar and grill on Maho Beach to watch the airplanes!
