New Amex Platinum Benefit for AMA

Just got notification from my TA that effective November 18, 2015, Ama Waterways will be participating in the Amex Platinum Travel Benefits program, for new bookings on select sailings from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018:

Up until now, the only river cruise line that participated in this program was Uniworld. So now there are two! [And I assume that Crystal will join when they launch their ships.]

Nice! Just another reason to try AMA some day.

• $300 shipboard credit per stateroom

• $100 spa voucher per cabin

• One extra Membership Rewards® point earned on each eligible dollar spent per booking with American Express Travel

No, I haven't seen the actual announcement yet. They will be announcing their 2017 sail dates soon, and I will need to find out more at that time.
