Carnival Cruise Excursions -- Nassau

My girlfriends and I are going to Nassau for my bachelorette party and are contemplating what to do during our day on the island. We really would like to spend the day on the beach at the very least and maybe something else fun. We have looked into a day pass to Atlantis and don't know if everyone can swing it, so were looking for alternatives.

Any suggestions as to which excursions are good for what we're looking for and what to avoid?

You don't need to book a hotel day pass through carnival, there is the Hilton, melia, RUI, Breezes, Sandals, plus beach days on islands.... Search this forum, look on trip advisor.

Oh, I didn't know they offered those separately. I will check into those. Do you have any recommendations as to which is better? Pros/Cons that you know of?

Have you thought about a private charter? My family is booking one through Island Time Charters. We are doing a 6 hour private excursion. Fishing, snorkeling, taking us to a secluded beach for a BBQ and we have 2 jet skis meeting us there for an hour. Sounds like it is going to be a great time!
