Cigar lounge on Seaside?

Mike, maybe you can answer this. The deck plans on the Seaside don't show a cigar bar, though all their other ships have one. It was very well used by all smokers on the Divina. There are a number of rooms by the casino on the Seaside that don't have designations on them.I mention the casino because that's where it's near on the Divina. Please, people, don't make this a forum about the sins of smoking.

Good question, the divina cigar lounge was a nice place to relax with a Maduro. I'd also like to know is there anything mentioned about the Meraviglia having one?

I brought my own on board the divina but the selection for purchase was of good quality. Did you buy on your trip?

I don't see a designation for the Cigar Lounge anywhere on any deck plan I have looked at yet. I left a message with the powers that be at MSC so hopefully I can get an answer for you. One thing is for sure,,,we can rule out decks 8 and above,,,can't see MSC placing a cigar lounge on the Wellness/Spa deck(deck 8),,nor on deck 5 which is the atrium/reception area. So,,that leaves deck 6 or 7.

Ok Deliver,,There will definitely be a Cigar Lounge onboard MSC Seaside but it's final location has not been solidified yet. I was told it will be located on either decks 5,6 or 7. He was going to check and see if he could find out more information for me and will get back to me if he hears anything,,,,:)

Thank you Mike. As usual, you've come through.I thought there would be, given MSC's track record, and how many used it on the Divina, day and night.

Cigars under the stars was pretty popular as well,,,Captain Scala always joined in on the festivities!!!:D

The Divina YC lounge (starboard side) then yes there was but Mediterranean cruising only. Seaside will become the Miami based ship then I would say no, I'm hoping Meraviglia has the same cigar friendly areas as Divina when in Europe.

I just got off the Divina in Florida, and smoking is allowed at the 1 Pool, port side, with either tables or chaises. There is a divider between the sections.

Yes Indeed Deliver,,,Yacht Club smoking section is port side of the One Pool and Bar,,,

  • 4 weeks later...

Just received word that MSC Seaside "WILL NOT" have a cigar lounge onboard, however designated smoking areas will be available

May be it is time that smoking was banned on Seaside to adapt to the modern world.
