wlwcvt Posted October 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2015 going back and forth on a 4A cabin- what would you chose stateroom 10600 or 9616. Our concern is the noise level from the pool deck. Thoughts?
STHCruising Posted October 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2015 We prefer the higher deck for easy access to Cabana's and the other amenities on deck 11. But, you will hear noise, mostly deck furniture being moved, from your stateroom on deck 10 v. deck 9. We now bring a simple noise machine to buffer out the noise we don't want. jalves Posted October 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2015 We've been in 5A's on both deck 10 and 9. We've decided that we will do deck 9 in the future. The "drawback" to deck 10 for us was the huge overhang from deck 11 which means you never get sun on your veranda. Add to that the noise early in the morning or late in the day of them moving deck chairs above you.
DaKa2002 Posted October 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Our experiences have us on deck 9 on both the Fantasy and Dream.
Nikita4 Posted October 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Last week we were in a 5A on deck 10. For a next cruise we will book a stateroom on deck 9, the view is better. The overhang was quite irritating and there was no sun at all times.
