Flight question

DCL says to not book before noon, but then THEY book people on 11:30 flights.

Assuming a normal Customs clearance, etc. you will be fine. The ship actually arrives back at PC a couple hours before 7:30, but that is the typical start of disembarkation. If you get off early, allow 15-30 minutes in the terminal claiming luggage and getting thru Customs, then 45 minutes to the airport. If you are on a DCL bus, you may sit for 20 minutes or so till the bus fills up.

If the stars are aligned and nothing goes wrong you should make it.

We walk straight off the ship at 7am (we don't eat breakfast on the last morning, I always have a snack handy just incase), normally no lines at immigration/baggage/shuttle and we are normally in our house about 25 mins south of MCO by 9ish and that is going into Cape Canaveral to pick up our car too.

  • 2 weeks later...

I think its too early. We ve booked a flight a 1 pm and yesterday we were at 1 pm in Orlando! Luckily the flight was too late and so we catch it.

There are a lot of people on the ship with flights prior to noon and all of them were loocking for other flights then!

Normaly the ship is not 4 hours too late like yesterday, but of bad weather or technical conditions it can be!

I hope yesterday was not normal, the embarkation was quite a nightmare!

I think you mean debarkation. That is unless you had issues embarking as well?
