Train to Seward

Hi guys, inquiring minds would like to know. Will be on the Radiance Ots in mid May up to Seward, then get on the train to Anchorage. Have a digital camera an one of the scenes is glass, would it be a good idea to switch to glass when taking pictures, so there won't be any glare from the windows, an also have the binoculars with me? Thanks.

Scenes are just processing routines designed to compensate for common scenarios. If you plan to do any post processing yourself, the best idea is to shoot just raw or high res jpg as your camera supports and use lightroom or PS adjust.

If not, then I probably would consider using that mode and take some test shots as soon as possible and review as the trip starts to see if you like how the camera addresses it.

There is a vestibule at the end of each car with a dutch door. They open the top door which works well for photographers. No glass to shoot through. Yes on the binoculars. There are frequently Dall sheep along the cliffs although sometimes high up. Occasionally Beluga whales in the inlet which can be at quite a distance.
