Welcome to Cruise Critic. there are many boards here that address different areas of cruising. One is the North American Homeports board, under which you can find Florida Departures. Your question is addressed there daily. Lots of local people to give advice. EM

We stay at what is now America's Best Value Inn in Cocoa- NOT Cocoa Beach. It used to be an Econo Lodge. We met the same couple twice who pay $30 to just park their car there and take their shuttle to and from the port. They live in Tampa so drive the morning of the cruise, get to hotel around 9am. You park right in front of the office.

We stay here for all FL cruises the night before. It is easy to get to from 95 and not expensive. After taxes we pay around $89. They have a simple breakfast.

People also stay at the Days Inn. We stayed at the Radisson once but their rates went up too high and parking is in a big, to us unsafe lot ,at the back of their huge lot away from everything.

We typically stay at the Marriott Courtyard Cocoa Beach, they give us a 40% off coupon for parking at the port for the week. Helps big time with the cost of parking at the port and we have the convenience of having our car right there in a secure parking area (we are not fans of waiting for shuttles and hulling the luggage out etc.). Worth it for us to have the car right there when we get off ship at the end.

Anybody know the best and cheapest way to park at Cape Canaveral during the 7 day cruise we will be going on. Has anyone stayed at a hotel there and had free parking and shuttle?

I have sailed out of Port Canaveral/Cape Canaveral and in my research the best was the Port Park by Radisson.

Patrolled security, free shuttle service to and from for all members of your group (some of the hotel deals only give a certain number of folks in each party).
