Dropping rental car at Hilton next to port??

We are renting a mini van from the airport and plan on dropping everyone off at the port the next morning before returning the rental to Avis at the Hilton next door to the port. Is this feasible and easy? Is it a long walk or a pain in the buttocks to walk into the port?

Should not be a problem New Orleans Port Correct?

Very easy. After you drop the car off you can walk through the Riverwalk Mall to the terminal, about five minutes.
