NOLA transportation to airport

We will be arriving in NOLA on the NCL Pearl and need transportation to the Airport. I checked with NCL and we can book the 1250p departure. We are looking for a private transfer. Have used the Taxi before and they are crazy drivers. Can anyone recommend a car service?

That doesn't leave you much choice other than our infamous cab drivers.

I think Carnival offers a shuttle. That would be slower but safer, and probably less expensive.

I use the airport shuttle. Its about $24 each. Be prepared to make stops along the way to the airport.

If you won't do Uber, then a cab is probably your best bet. We used an Uberxl to get to our hotel by the airport, it was about 30 dollars.

Why not Uber? I've used them in in several cities with absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Uber worked very well in New Orleans. They were fast and cheap. Cabs are plentiful if you are in the right place, but we had extra time and went to the movies, there was no cab stand outside the mall we were at, but Uber was there in about 3 minutes. The streetcars are fine for the places by the tracks, but they are slow and crowded.

Does Uber go from MSY hotels in Kenner to cruiseport? If so what is charge for 2 people?
