No. At least none that I've ever heard of. If the price drops, you have the option of cancelling and rebooking. Sometimes it's worth it. Most times not.

Given that I have no idea what Carnival does.....if you see a price drop on your cabin category and call DCL or your TA BEFORE the penalty date, DCL will match the new rate. It is not automatic; you must call DCL.

After the penalty date, you'll need to calculate whether the new rate is worth doing a cancelation, accepting the penalty, and rebooking. No adjustments after the penalty date--cancel and rebook only (but they will put you in the same cabin/same dining if asked).

We will give it a try.....we sail in April on the Dream and it has gone down a little.....we are currently paid in full.....so hopefully will get onboard credit or regular credit back.

You will NOT get onboard credit. They will either match the new price or they won't. The only problem I see is that you are paid in full, but that shouldn't be an issue as you are not at the penalty date yet. Just be sure that you are looking at the same category, date, etc. and that whatever site you are using to see the lower price has included all taxes and fees. There are plenty of sites out there that don't list some or all of the taxes in order to make their rates look better.

If they chose to be PIF already and Concierge would that make a difference?

The only date that matters when it comes to rate adjustments or cruise line cancelation penalties , is the cruise line Final Payment date , not when you may have paid in full early.:)
