We just ended our cruise on the Equinox today. The main shows were generally at 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. So you could go to the early show, and then eat late.

What we do if we want to see a show after our dinner we let our servers know our plans and they have been very good about getting us thru our meal faster.

The Shows are all scheduled so that you won't miss it whether you eat early or late. Some nights are 7 and 9 and others 8:30 and 10:30. So if you eat late you go to 7 show or 10:30 show.

Although you should be fine re combining shows with dining we have always let our wait staff know if we had a time line for the evening. If you are sharing a table with others this is even more important. Don't be afraid when ordering to ask to see and order your desert and again reiterate you have limited time.

We have always found staff to be very accommodating. They prefer you to let them know at the beginning that you want to eat fast tonight than for you to get cross with them as time goes by....

We use the timing of the dinners to know when the main shows are. Yes if on late you will miss some of the other entertainment not in the main theatre, e.g they do some of the game shows around 9 or 9.30 in celebrity Central

On Equinox last week We regularly ate at 9.00 and had plenty of time to get to the 10.45 shows which were the second show of the night, first was 7.45 or 8.09 I think

In the Daily they will have the show times with the footnote, of which is for which dinner seating. Late dinner normally goes before they eat, then strolls to the MDR after the show, as the early dinner seating is strolling to the theater. The late late shows are normally of a more 'adult' nature. ;)

So I went and got out our Celebrity Today from our 11 day sailing on the Equinox last Nov. 2 evenings the show times were 8:30 and 10:30. All the rest were 7:00 and 9:00. But much to my surprise it did not suggest which dinner seating should go to which time.

I guess they know if we have late seating we won't be able to make the 9:00 show.:D
