The stunning Viking cruise ships in Bergen

Over the past couple of weeks, all three of the current Viking ocean cruise ships have called into their homeport of Bergen. I've really enjoyed seeing them close-up, and have now featured each of them (along with a full set of photos) on my hobby blog of ships in the city...

I hope these are of interest ot some of you here :). If my budget allowed it I'd be booking a Viking cruise in a heartbeat!

I thought the SKY was going to be Christened while she was there??

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful ship. I saw on Marine Traffic this morning that one of the Viking ships was there!

A January press release said she would be christened in Tromso:

STAR was christened in Bergen and SEA was christened in London.

Yes, SKY is scheduled to be christened next month in Tromsø, although I wish it was here in Bergen, as I sadly missed STAR's ceremony 2 years ago.

It seems like the trend is for these ceremonies to take place later and later into the maiden seasons of modern cruise ships...?
