Ama Dolce

Just returned. In one word... lovely cruise.

Ship has been renovated. All staff friendly and efficient. Lounge entertainers very good. Food very good. Local wines and beer, very good.

Tours efficient on new buses. Tour guides good. Only tour I didn't like was "communist Bratslavia tour" (just a drive around in a bus and tromp up a hill to monument, nothing at castle, just a view)

Amawaterways obviously has this down pat. They run a good cruise. Being our first river cruise, it will definitely not be our last.

Pre hotel stay Hilton Old town very nice. Post stay Sofitel, very nice.

Never use cruise line air, but did this time, and it was perfect (and same price if I had done on my own, plus included airport transfers)

Negative comment: "I am exhausted"

Positive comment: Wow, I wasted all that money all those years on ocean cruises, now I find style":cool:

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, river cruising is addictive -- and especially so when you have a great first cruise.
