Mazatlan Excursion

Has anyone been on the Estuary Cruise & Tropical Birds excursion in Mazatlán? If so, did you enjoy it and was it worth it?

We did it thru Princess many years ago. We all enjoyed it and there were only about 8 of us on the tour. It lasted a good part of the day but we did see many birds and other critters.

I'll be taking this one during my Ruby Princess Christmas cruise...

We're going to be in Mazatlan Christmas Day...and, even though Princess is selling the full slate of tours, I have this terrible feeling most of the others would be a waste of time.

Is the Pacifico Brewery really operating Christmas Day?

Is the Cathedral not otherwise occupied?

Are the shops in the Golden Zone really open for business?

I figure, at least, the tropical birds don't take the day off!

I did this cruise a few years ago on Sapphire Princess and we were in Cabo on New Years Day and did the Todos Santos shorex...The place was a ghost town...

So, my thought is: What could possibly happen to screw this one up? It's a boat ride into the wildlife area...
