RCL new travel agent reservation system to launch in March

Royal Caribbean Cruises announced it has rolled out a new set of business-ready features for its state-of-the-art Espresso reservation system, which covers the Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara brands.

“The newly revealed series of enhancements is the latest in RCL’s continuous rollout of intuitive tools and services to the robust program, added every year since its launch in 2015,” the company said, in a prepared statement.

Among the key features is the ability for travel agents to search for connecting staterooms.

There is also a new feature to allow downloadable guest documentation, ranging from eDocs to luggage tags.

Another new aspect allows back-to-back bookings. While more features include the ability to reinstate and reschedule groups, and even individual bookings within a group or changing ships and departures for group reservations online.

The group value adds tool allows agents to view and allocate payments to a group reservation online, adding optional services and amenities.
