engine noise

we are on the avalon vista end of june 2017 and in cabin 226 about 3 cabins from back .Can anyone tell me whether there will be any engine noise in this cabin ?:confused:

Haven't traveled on Avalon but looking at the deck plan you should be okay but I would consider the noise from the stairwell next to your room may cause some noise but I should think not at night. Have a great cruise. CA

Thanks for reply ,I also though of the stairwell but i think stairwell is only up to deck 2 and only dinning room on our level hopefully there is not to many early risers on the cruise???

Just off the Avalon Passion - cabin 217.

You will hear engine noise and feel vibrations whenever the boat has to make major maneuvers such as docking.

You will not be alone.

Most of the time, the boat ghosted along with only the soft sound of the surf slurping along the side.
