Weddings and Renewal of Vows

Just wanted to add a few observations. Over Christmas and New Year we saw more of the above than ever and that includes both west and eastbound voyages on the QM2 and the NCL Breakaway. We even witnessed a proposal one night in the Britannia restaurant. Must admit we all held our breath until he announced she'd said yes. (I wonder what would have happened if she'd refused. Could have been very embarrassing).

A couple on the table next to us got married and they went to the Captain's cocktail party still in their wedding finery. We were a little surprised to see them turn up for dinner (still in wedding attire). I would have expected them to have a separate room for the evening but maybe she wanted everyone to see the wedding dress :D Whilst the wedding party seemed to be having a great time, making speeches was difficult for them because of the noise swirling around them. Didn't help that the groom was very emotional and cried through the whole thing.
