Is Deck 12 on the NCL Breakaway noisy??

I see all the cabins on deck 12 are designated as family cabins. I assume because splash academy is on decks 12 and 13. We are traveling with no kids, is deck 12 a noisy deck? Should we avoid that deck if we want quiet?

Meanwhile deck 13 has splash academy on it also but the cabins are not designated as family cabins. What is the difference in these 2 decks??

We are looking at a balcony cabin near the aft stairs/elevators. Not near splash academy.

I need opinions on deck 12 please!!!

Thanks,

Jill

You may also want to ask this on the dedicated NCL forum here:

I also think you should check out the NCL forum.

You may note the comments about unsupervised children in the Haven area.

While you may not be booking a cabin in the Haven, the behavior noted of these children may also appear in Splash Academy or in the general area.

My DH and I are sailing on the Breakaway in a few weeks without children.

We booked a mini suite on deck 8 with a larger balcony.

FWIW,the NCL booking agent assured me that the cabin is in a quiet location.
