Shore Excursion-Private Day vs. Private Half Day Question

We are looking to book a private excursion through the ship and see that there are two options. One is Private Full Day with a limitation of 7 people and the Private Half Day with a limitation of 6 people. These two look exactly alike in terms of being private tours with a mini bus except for the length of the tour. Does anyone know why the full day has a limit of 7 people yet the half day has a limit of 6? We have 7 people in our party but we'd prefer the half day tour so just trying to understand.

Thanks!

Kim

I can't answer your question but my best guess is that a different vehicle, with a reduced capacity, is used for the half day tour. I suggest that you contact the Shore Excursion Office at HAL in Seattle, and ask them. They might be able to make alternate arrangements for your group; it sounds like it would be an easy thing for them to do.
