BrittaniMV Posted February 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2015 We are new to SD and wondered if anyone could provide insight on appropriate dinner attire. I've heard it's casual, but how casual is casual? :-)
NathanNuttela Posted February 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Sooo glad you have asked this question. Mrs Nuttela in particular has been wondering what to pack! Footwear is causing her the most of a pickle. Jim Avery Posted February 23, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Actually SeaDream is fairly dressy at night but in a "casual way". Most men will wear slacks and a nice shirt (Hawaiian or otherwise) and closed toe shoes. I have some nice OluKai flips for day wear but always take a pair of nicer loafers or boat shoes for the evening. DW Lois takes lots of Chico's Travelers for evening as they pack well and look good. The ladies bling up with nice accessories and jewelry and look like a Million Bucks. They even make us guys look better. Daytime is of course bathing suits, shorts, t shirts, flip flops, good old beachy stuff. If you bring a tie, I believe the Chef cuts it off with a very large knife.:D:D
kathyanddanny Posted February 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Brintanimv, Resort casual!...short or long sleeve shirts for men and long pants for the dining room. I have seen golf shorts on men and polo shirts while eating outside also. I usualy wear capris and a different blouse every night and a little bling to sparkle everything up! Other ladies may go full glam!! 👸 I am sure whatever you choose will be fine...👞👡👠👕👖👙👗👚👛👑
