Info on Carnival Mastercard

Just some info if you have a Carnival Mastercard on an issue I am working with them now, used 20,000 points for a $200 statement credit in February and that has still not posted to my account. I called twice and the second rep finally agreed that there was a problem on their end and that he was taking it up with his supervisor and gave me a reference number so I am checking each day to see that this is resolved. thought this would be a reminder to double check to see that you get the credit you redeem.

By error took points and wound up with $ 700 obc for recent cruise. Luckily I checked and found out if we didnt spend the dollars we would lose it as it is considered Carnival cash.

took out the money via the casino but shocked that they would take away dollars you have earned if not spent on board.

Thankfully we learned how to remove the obc thru the casino on here or we would have purchased a lot of stuff in the gift shops we had no real use for.:)

Put money on your casino account thru obc on slot machine play a game of slots or two and than a day or two later cash out and they will give you cash.

The first time we did this we took out the cash without playing a hand and they didnt like that at all and froze our account until we told them it was an error and they reinstated us so we could do the rest of it.

I would be interested to know this too...we're not big spenders, so sometimes we have OBC that we want to cash out.

SCREEN PRINT EVERYTHING!!!! I have purchased 2 things in a row with the Rewards boost, and they do not give the "extra " points! Luckily I have the screen prints and I have been waiting with case numbers for my points to show up. One has been over a month of them telling me I am correct and they will appear in a week......two weeks later still waiting. It is a pain to say the least. One supervisor gave the fax and email and phone # to her office. I email return receipt and no less than 7 people opened my email and still nothing! BTW when you call the number on the card you aren't talking to anyone in the US!:mad:

I'm beginning to dislike this card. I've got "Boost" points that aren't showing as such. I don't feel like I should have to continuously monitor this thing, but I guess I do.

I just put my points towards OBC and just made reservations for the Steak House for my DH, DS and myself.... it will in their xmas stockings
