Silent Disco on Summit

Anybody just off Summit and do they do Silent Disco at the Martini Bar? Was just on Equinox and the did it on there. Was a blast.

Any other tips for Summit cruisers in January? Captain Kate still running the ship on January 16th?

We were on the Summit Nov 5 -12, and yes, they had Silent Disco at the Martini Bar, and again, two nights later in the lounge on Deck 11. So much fun!

What is Silent Disco?

Silent disco is when the DJ say comes to Martini Bar sets up. Sets out about 100 headphones. There are 3 different stations that play 3 different types of music on th headphones. The sides of the headphones light up in a different color depending on the station. So everybody dances to the music but if you dont have headphones on you cant hear music. Its a wierd concept but is a riot.you know what the next person is listening to by color of headphone..

Good time had by all. If you are on a cruise check it out.

Just did it on the Equinox a few weeks ago! So much fun! What a creative idea! We danced for more than an hour! (It was the one evening we didn't feel so guilty for the food we ate at dinner!!). Find it on your next cruise!

We got pics but havent screened them yet...it is a crazy fun time. You wouldnt think so but its a blast....just add cocktails...

Yes just off the Summit and they had it. They called it "muted" not "silent" in the daily list of activities. It was a blast! It was in the Martini bar one night and in Revelations another night.
