First time on HAL. Is there any carryover from Carnival loyalty program

I haven't traveled on Carnival in many years, more recently on Celebrity, Princess or NCL. But I have some sort of history with them

I read somewhere that credit from Celebrity for past cruises can apply on RCCl.

Is that done on HAL with Carnival?

Thinking of Niew Amsterdam this fall.

Since you have cruised in another Carnival Corporation Cruise line your 1st cruise on Holland you will be a Mariner. You will get invited to the Mariners Reception during your cruise. Additional cruises with HAL you will progress thru the levels.

I don't think there is any carry over. We just returned from our first HAL cruise. We have cruised on Carnival four times.

Yes, I called the Mariner Society # to get a Mariner Number and they had to verify my VIFP club status. You become a One-Star Mariner and just get access to the member's reception.

If you own 100 shares of CCL stock you also can receive additional On board credit. The amount is determined by the length of cruise.

No days sailed on Carnival will carry over to HAL.

As others have said, you will be granted Mariner status before your cruise. The Carnival brands don't have any kind of reciprocity like the RCCL brands do. I wish they did...that's a nice perk!
