Hi all,
I know you used to get onboard credit or a discount if you owned Carnival stock. Does that still apply? We have sold our stock but might be interested in buying more at this time. We have already booked our cruise so I'm not sure if we bought the stock now would we still get credit on an already booked cruise? Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure that if you send in your most current record of stock ownership prior to your cruise, you should still be entitled too the benefit. 7 day=100. 5 day=50.

Have a great cruise

Yes, I wish we wouldn't have sold it when we did. Thanks to all who replied!

This is a quote taken from the Official Shareholder Benefit Statement:

"Reservations must be made by February 28.2011."

I am not sure what that means. Perhaps the benefit will be modified after
Feb. 28th. or end.

The board has to renew it every year, but they always do, it's not ending.

It is silly how they do that every year, must be a rule in the charter or something. Or maybe they just want you to think the credit is going away so you book sooner!

Is that $100 OBC for every 100 shares, or is that the total of OBC inspite of the the # of shares you own ?

I could not determine that from the link another OP put up either.

Thank you

No extra OBC for owning more than 100 shares...
