are you talking Gratuities on the Drink pkge, then yes,or the Daily Gratuities then only if you book on the UK website as per Consumer Law . I live in Canada and booked a Norway cruise, which leaves out of Southhampton, and had to check the box for Prepay Gratuities

Norway is expensive on a whole. So anything you do or purchase will reflect that. we are going in Sept. 2025 and are looking at excursions, but just like others mentioned even private ones are pricey. In Flam you can buy the Train tickets for alot less then thru Celebrity. In Geiranger the Kayak tours are less but not by much. I suggest you Google all the Ports and see what is offered at what price, thats what I am doing,and if Celebrity is having a sale I know I know if its good or not.

We loved our IV Veranda, makes room bigger, lay in bed watch world go by, no curtain in the way.They use hidden blinds.Way more privacy. We rarely used Balconies, my husband now wants theses cabins only.

Go to Guest services or to Cosmopolitan Restaurant floor , there was a Station to choose your Times and Restaurants, I had a list of Restaurants, dates and times we preferred and it was no problem getting what we wanted. No need to go to each Restaurant you desire. I went there right after dropping bags at Room.

We were on Expedition in Jan,2022, I had booked this in Feb. 2020, we chose Expedition for Price at the time. Due to Covid still being a factor, there were only 34 ppl onboard. We quickly bonded with 3 other couples, less people onboard means quicker loading and unloading of Zodiacs,therefor getting to the landing spots quicker. There was at that time not really any entertainment onboard.Don't know about that now.

If you rent a car opt for the NAVI (GPS) option. German Autobahn can be crazy especially on a Sunday, lots of daytrippers. One accident and the 1,5 hr drive can turn into 3-4 hrs. Another option is to look into taking a train to Kiel. www.bahn.de, choose your language.
