I didn't click on the links. Don't need to. I'm living proof that smoke triggers my (and Mrs. Schmoopie's) asthma. Whatever is in cigarette smoke, it has the effect of closing up my breathing passageways and it has the feeling of severe shortness of breath and/or suffocating.
Maybe I'm an anamoly (Mrs. Schmoopie, too). Maybe we should get inflatable plastic bubbles in which we can be encased on our next cruise. On second thought, it's probably hard to breathe inside one of those, too.
As for casinos (the original topic)...absolutely no problem with them. If people want to lose money, (and I've lost my share)...at least that doesn't impact others walking through (or even in the general vicinity of) the casino.
