I have been on both itineraries! My thought is try something new and go on the Catalina Island and Ensenda cruise. This trip however wouldn't be really beach oriented ..if that is truly what you're looking for then I would go with Coco Cay option. Catalina island however is neat to see and a check off the bucket list kind of trip. Its an easy port to navigate on your own. Ensenda is not my fav port however again if you've never been its a check off the list kind of trip. 🙂 Let us know what you decide.

Cruised out of Spain in April/22 - went all over Europe both before and after cruise. COVID negative. Cruised out of LA in Jan/22 -no issues. Cruised to Alaska Oct/2021 - no issues. Vaxed and Boosted - outside of that we take typical precautions. No issues thus far. We have another cruise scheduled for Oct/22 Holy Lands out of Rome. Enjoy your trip!

We brought our two bottles of wine to the Main Dining Room for dinner the last two cruises all during the pandemic. We were NOT charged a corkage fee either time 🙂

We are onboard Odyssey on Oct 7th, 2022. Nothing is showing on the app for booking. We typically book all shows the first day once onboard. 🙂

We are balcony only folks for now ! We do like to spend some ‘down time’ in our room and on the balcony. That being said we focus on the itinerary - cruises longer than seven days- port intensive in order to see more locations. That being said we do occasionally book a short sun break… but again with a balcony.

Christmas and New Years are one of our favorite times of year to cruise !! Enjoy …

We cruised out of Barcelona this year and arrived early (11:30) There was a long line already formed and they were processing folks …so we jumped in line and didn’t have any issue.

Chill island area beach - we travel with our own snorkel gear - we saw large sea turtles the last time we were there 🙂

I just got off Voyager of the Seas on the cruise from Barcelona to Copenhagen. The pools were open intermittently even during cold weather as were the hot tubs.
