  1. With the cruise ship and passengers tendering, yes, there will be.
  2. When it comes to email, I’ve found that many vendors are on island time-it sometimes takes a week or more. I use WhatsApp and avoid any international calling costs. Plus, you can text on that too. Most in the BVI use it. Even then, texting can still be slow, as vendors get busy and are often occupied with other customers.
  3. It’s the White Bay on Guana Island, not Jost. Makes me sad that they are invading this paradise.
  4. Last year we stayed at White Bay Villas. It was gorgeous and we’d definitely stay there again. The walk down the hill/mountain to the beach was a bit much for my 76 yr old mother, though. This year we’re staying at Hendo’s. JVD is my favorite place on earth. Everyone there is so nice and just genuinely good. Another option is the Sandcastle at Soggy Dollar, if everyone in your party is 25 or older. The Glass House is gorgeous if you have a large group. Please feel free to ask me anything. I LOVE talking about JVD!
  5. Sunfari does Jeep tours and will likely do 2 people. They will take you wherever you want. We’ve used them twice and they are wonderful!
  6. Completely agree! We’ve cruised NCL for years and Escape to JVD on Rebel Yell was definitely hands down the best. Since then we’ve stayed on JVD for a week last year and will do 10 days in June!
  7. I found Sapphire to be extremely rocky, and I’m not tender footed. It was also extremely rough when we were there. Love Magen’s and Secret Harbour.
  8. Their max is 12 people and they have a 6 hr for around $200.
  9. Extremely unlikely that you’ll find a private charter with a reputable company for that price. Stormy Pirates is great. Their cheapest is $540 for 4 hrs.
  10. There’s only 1 all inclusive resort on St Thomas, period. And it’s not like Sandals or Beaches or anything like that. Go to Magens or Secret Harbour.
  11. Very excited! The port is approx 30 minutes from my house, so that’ll be convenient!
  12. November 2025. Finally, we get something besides crappy, old Carnival ships!
  13. Hey, Painkillers for breakfast are totally acceptable-they have OJ! I washed down my breakfast burrito from Soggy Dollar with 1…2…ok 2 Painkillers and a Mango Madness! 😜
