  1. That's really cool. I would love to have the .stl
  2. Gotcha, so really no personal info.
  3. What personal information does NCL print on the card? I thought the only thing was your name and maybe your loyalty number?
  4. How does the number of days on the ship even make a difference to how many vibe passes are sold? The capacity is the capacity. Something smells fishy here. If this happened to me I would be livid. Like the OP, our trip is planned around having access to vibe.
  5. You are trying to manipulate data to support your claim here. Those are the per person prices that don't account for taxes, fees, and gratuities on package components, all of which will change depending on what promotion is offered. Bottom line is that once you cross the 110 day line, the same upgrade options aren't available anymore, and before you ask, yes I in fact HAVE talked to Norwegian about upgrades inside the 110 day timeframe and what others are saying here is 100% correct. Once you are inside that timeframe the promotional offers change, which means you cannot do what you are looking to. I am sorry you don't like the answers you are getting, but they are in fact correct.
  6. I have done it. What was explained is correct, you just get a price adjustment and booking number stays the same. My cruise first still had its full value.
  7. We just booked the Tiger Class for our cruise in 2 weeks. I will let you know!
  8. Will be doing this tomorrow night. Hoping for a similar arrival time!
  9. I understand perfectly. I recognize arrogant intolerance when I see it.
  10. What outrage? I am simply pointing out that it's arrogant to assume that everyone should speak English, or assume that allowing employees to communicate in their native language is somehow poor training or a decline in service. I save my outrage for the intolerances that cause real human suffering, but will continue to point out the small, petty ones too,
  11. Absolutely. It's already been done and I have spoken to someone is the special needs department.
  12. According to John Heald, the crew are free to speak to each other in whatever language they wish, so what you think doesn't matter as far as that goes either. What language Carnival has chosen for official communication doesn't dictate what everyone must speak. Properly trained crew are free to communicate in whatever language they see fit, as long as they use English with guests. It's arrogant to assume everyone should speak English, or that the fact that they don't or choose not to makes them somehow less. Less trained, less professional, or less of anything. Speaking English does not make one superior. It's also arrogant to assume that if someone chooses to speak another language in your presence they must be talking about you. Unless you are throwing your superiority around, they probably could care less.
  13. thanks for the info. I was just trying to gage what to expect/do when I got there. I am fine either way, but I wanted to be prepared.
  14. With the scooter I don't think I will. Without the scooter I needed a wheelchair. I am not trying to skip the line or anything, just wanted to be prepared for what to expect.
  15. This is such an arrogant assumption. You do realize not everyone who sails Carnival as a guest speaks English, right? There are in fact a myriad of other languages no less worthy of being spoken. I think it would be proper training to NOT assume everyone spoke and understood English, and NOT to ask crew to exclude those who don't by only communicating in English.
  16. We are sailing on the Mardi Gras in a few weeks and it will be my first time boarding on Carnival when I already have my scooter. Other cruises it has been waiting in the room for me. How will boarding work? Will they board us with disabled guests before general boarding or will we board with our group? Is there a separate check in line I need to be aware of?
  17. 1. This is why I got a passport the first time I went out of the country. 2. This is why I THOROUGHLY research any trip I before I book it.
  18. We have Chef's table booked for our Thanksgiving cruise. All of the footage I have seen was shot over 6 months ago, and it was still being held in the Carnival Kitchen space that they started using to preserve distancing after the restart. I know the Celebration is now using the dining room adjacent to the galley that is designed for Chef's Table. Does anyone know if Mardi Gras has gone back to this yet? I just seems a little weird with people walking by and staring in for an event like that, so I am hoping they have gone back to the Chef's Table dining room.
  19. Thanks for the photos. I am hoping they do it this way on the Mardi Gras when we are there. So far I haven't been able to find any evidence of them actually using the Chef's table dining room. All of the videos I have seen are from last year, and they do the full experience in the Carnival Kitchen area.
  20. No, It would be showing if not sold out. We booked ours almost a year out.
  21. Our dinner at Rudi's was about and hour and a half. It can vary a bit based on how busy it is. First night is popular so may take a little longer.
  22. Thanksgiving is night 6 of our 7 day cruise. Will they shift elegant night to do a Thanksgiving dinner?
  23. @pirate4me2, great review! We will be back on the Mardi Gras in 6 weeks. Cannot wait! Would you happen to know what musicians are currently onboard, particularly the jazz trio and piano bar?
  24. Anyone know who is currently playing on the Mardi Gras? Looking specifically for who the jazz trio is and who is in the piano bar?
