  1. On ships that have the Red Frog Pub or the smokehouse/brewhouse, they are $20 normally or $10 during happy hours (usually a couple hours on embarkation day and the last port day).
  2. Grab a Guy's burger and a half off fishbowl drink (not necessarily in that order).
  3. FCC cannot be used as a deposit, but the agent who helped us rebook took what we had previously paid for taxes and gratuities (which would usually be refunded) and put those towards our deposit.
  4. Well we were supposed to be sailing a 5 day to Progreso and Cozumel on the Fantasy as we speak, but that obviously didn't happen. Decided to go all out with our "back up" choice and rescheduled for the Mardi Gras next year. 7 day Eastern Caribbean.
  5. Does anyone have experience with canceling Fun Shop orders that were placed originally with gift cards? I just had to reschedule my cruise and I had paid for several things, like Cheers and Bubbles, with gift cards. I understand that they will be refunded as new gift cards, and that's fine because the new cruise is more money. I'm just going to take those and pay down the balance on the new sailing. Just wondering how long it typically takes for those new cards to arrive. And if I used 5 different cards, for example, will I get 5 new cards or will they consolidate into one?
  6. Well we weren't going to cancel, but with the increasing concerns, we made the difficult decision last night to do so. Moved our booking to the Mardi Gras next March. I figure if I have to reschedule a vacation I've been planning for a year, I'm going to make it worth it.
  7. It may get better with the warmer weather. We don't really know at this point. But I'm sure that Carnival is watching and will update their policy accordingly.
  8. I'm not sure that pretend weapons would be allowed on board.
  9. Conspiracy theory or not, I'm glad to have a free $150.
  10. If I could, I absolutely would. I am going on one in a week and a half even with this virus threat. I wish it was free. 😉
  11. There is no guarantee that they'll do anything, other than refund your port fees of course, but a couple years ago we were scheduled to port at Mahogany Bay, but were unable to due to wind. We weren't expecting anything but an extra sea day, however, Carnival was able to work it out with an extra unplanned stop in Cozumel. We had already been to Cozumel earlier on that same cruise, so we ended up stopping there twice. From what I understand, this is rare, but I have heard of them doing it one other time and that time also resulted in a 2nd stop in Cozumel.
  12. Nope that doesn't matter. As long as you hit the next level on any day of your cruise, even debarkation day, you get the benefits. Happened to us last cruise.
  13. There have been a couple of occasions when I went to the MDR by myself because DH wasn't feeling well and my kids prefer to eat on lido. No issues at all getting a table for one.
  14. My cruise now only shows the new options - 5, 10, or 15 ProPortraits packages. If the pictures are around $20 already, how is this a savings? At least with the original package, you basically got a free canvas.
