IMO and horrible experience , stay away from JetBlue.
Thank you!
I am only looking at Non Stop.
Seems only Spirit & Delta.
When you look at Spirit and all the up charges it exceeds Delta.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes well...there is really no point in comparing black friday sale prices to normal prices. Chops without black friday price is way more than $60/pp.
This is not a Black Friday sale price. It is every cruise price.
Just got off Princess Enchanted Med cruise. Their Specialty Restaurants were $39 per person. Crown Grill steak house, Catch Seafood, & Sabatines Italian.
Excellent menus and 5 course meals. No extra up charges.
One of the best values of most cruise lines.
Happy Cruising!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

My airfare for FLL during Xmas/NYE was $125 per person round trip.
What airlines?
What airports?
Glad your fare was cheap.
I am checking Expedia and all other sites. Spirit & Delta out of DTW to FLL RT for Feb 2024 no stops 2 people over $1,000.

For two Specialty Dining Restaurants (including Cagney’s) it’s less than $20 tip…that’s not per restaurant…..that’s BOTH combined with FAS.
That’s why it makes ZERO sense to go to any of the Specialty Restaurants and order a la carte!
Let me make myself clear. I would not go to any SR and order a la carte. I'm Sapphire, so I get free SRs. I was originally just asking if NCL now has a set price. I have received my answer, Thank you all.
Happy Thanksgiving! -

Not really. We go there for steak.
FILET $94.95
BONE-IN NEW YORK $94.95
BONE-IN RIB EYE $114.95
PORTERHOUSE $165.95
TOMAHAWK $174.95 (shared)
Totally way out of my league! For those prices, I would book another cruise.
I'm surprised that you cruise NCL and other similar lines.

Of course it is, I doubt many pay a la carte, but instead buy a dining package for at least 2 meals.
Thank you!
Yes, we have 2 already with our booking.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, but your local steakhouse is actually good. NCL's Cagney's is Texas Roadhouse.
For that price it should be OUTSTANDING! That is the price of a day on a cruise ship. SMH!

FYI - The Plus & Premium pkgs on Princess are very reasonable when compared to other cruise lines.
Beverage pkgs alone on other lines exceed these prices.
So, you get much more with these pkgs!

You don’t want to do a la carte dining in Cagney’s. It’s VERY expensive. Buy a 2 dinner SDP package. It will be cheaper than a la carte for just Cagney’s.
Thank you! Yes, for a shrimp cocktail, lamb & side it is $71 before tip. Totally overpriced! JMHO!

Yes, indeed.
For NCL. those were the good old days.

HAPPY CRUISING!

That is one of the reasons that we liked Regal Princess, with Reserve Class we did not have any wait for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We were on the Enchanted last week and saw lines every time for the Reserve Class. So, it all depends on ship, amount of passengers, etc. There is no one answer.

Thanks for your replies. On some cruise lines (RCI, Celebrity, MSC and Princess) they have a set fee for a 3 course meal.
Example: Starter (Soup/Salad), Main & Desert for a set price. Apparently NCL does not unless you buy the dining package or pay per item.
-
Can you buy an individual meal in Cagney's without using the Package/price per item?
I can find the Packages (2/3/...) and the menus with price per item only.
TIA

Yes, you all are correct. I just came back and saw my mistake. That is what happens when you are on 3 CC Boards and in your 80s. Sorry!

Data shows that, in general, prices are falling. And when they’re not, cancellation policies are more flexible. Yes, a specific route on your favorite airline to the specific cruise you’d like to take may not have fallen, but if you’re flexible you’ll find more deals than you could last year. Any deal on a cruise will be for travel within the next year, so yes 2025 may be inflated.Since prices are falling, we are talking Cruising & flying specifically on this forum.
I personally don't see it. I cruise about 10 times a year on many cruises lines. I fly to FL, NJ, Europe.
Don't see any price reductions.
Would appreciate your examples. Flexible yes, FLL or MIA. Stay a day before or day after so won't fly on weekend.
Happy Cruising!

'All forms of travel are seeing price declines and a drop in future demand.'
Checking airfares to FLL or MIA. Use to be $300/400 PP RT.
Now, $800+ in Cabin. Been checking airfares for over 2 moths for Feb 24.
Where is the price declines???
I have checked all sources and don't see any declines. It's cheaper to cruise
than to fly. JMHO!

Try MSC for a change.
FYI - Thanks for your suggestion. However, I cruised MSC 2 times this year. So, yes, I do cruise other lines and compare. This year we cruised RCI, MSC, Celebrity and Princess. Have booked for 2024 RCI, Celebrity, NCL and Princess.

Is the same amount of cabins available now as it was back in January?
Don't keep track of number of cabins.
I am only posting the increase in prices, regardless of conditions.

Interesting. It really shows how we all have different experiences.
We were just on Enchanted for 14 days in October and the crew was the BEST I have ever had on 14 cruises! I had so many people to write glowing reviews for in the survey, I had to have a list.....
We've never had so many crew know us and know our names (without their ipads) on any other cruise.
We were on Celebrity last year and celebrated our wedding anniversary. This year we were on the Enchanted.
Without going into details Celebrity Captain ensured we will never forget that special event!
On the Enchanted didn't even get an acknowledgement from any Officer.
Yes, in the Crown Grill they gave us little Princess cake and sang Happy Anniversary.
We were on the Enchanted for 22 days. Celebrity 7 days.
Yes! Interesting. It really shows how we all have different experiences.

If you think that's not well attended... I was on the Symphony Med Cruise in October and the Top Tier event was held in Dazzles. No acrobats there, maybe about 25 people in total. Clearly not as many C&A folks on European cruises. However, there was a lot more champagne to go around 😄
Many people do not attend these functions anymore. Regardless of cruise line, they are basically for those who want a free drink.
It's more of a sales pitch. JMHO!

OMG The prices
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Apparently you don't have check in luggage.
I priced out Spirit. By time you add in personal item, check in bag and seat they are equal to other airlines and just as expensive.
I used them years ago, but not now unless they are reasonable. JMHO!
