Concierge suite, vanity mirror

Is there a makeup are with a mirror in the room? I notice just the tv by the desk.

The chairs in Compass Rose look difficult.

The story with the chairs is that the materials used are the wrong way round. The leather on the seat area should be on the arms and back, the fabric on the seat. They need to be upholstered. This information came directly from the cruise director John Barron. Sitting on the leather seat was a rather hot and sticky affair, an extra napkin to sit on, solved the problem.

Plenty of drawers and yes, lots of drawers in the walk in wardrobe area.

We have just spent a wonderful 10 nights on Navigator. What a beautiful little ship she is.

Concierge Suite

I use ordinary padlocks on my suitcases. I have not had trouble with this and assume that cases are x-rayed, sniffed by dogs and generally handled by staff. Unless you have suspicious looking items inside they do not open them, if they did I think they will cut the locks.

 

I always put as much stuff into checked luggage so I do not need to carry extra weight.

Should we use TSA locks for our BA flight to Rome ? and which is the best place to pack hair straighteners, cabin bag or checked on case. Tia

Well, all should be perfect by the time we board. We love Regent and can't imagine that all won't be finished.

Suzez, where are you in UK? I work for an English company that is in Maidstone, Kent. The original firm was in Oldham, near Manchester but was sold in 2001 to the Maidstone business.

It sounds like you are a big cruiser. We only began cruising in 2013 when we took the Regent Baltics cruise. It was wonderful and we've been a Regent fan ever since. This is our 4th.

We are in Wiltshire. This is our first Regent cruise, something special to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, which was 7th April.

Hi, we disembark Navigator 3rd May. So I hope all is going to plan, she is currently on her first cruise since re fit. It seems there is very little info or photos, in any about her. This will be our first Regent cruise, so very much looking forward to it.

Suzez: I use Tapatalk on my iPhone. I downloaded it via the Apple App Store. "The Fly" is a 1950s Sci-Fi movie. "On the fly" is slang for "seamlessly," "as you go," or "in conjunction with." In other words, real easy. :D:D

We'll be patient (well, I will, at least) - one pic or so a day is much better than no pics.

 

Don't know why Regent isn't getting pictures out there - you spend $40 million, you think you'd want people to see the end results.

Well, all will be revealed to us this coming Saturday.
