We are a group of 8 on the Ascent in October. 2 couples have anytime and 2 have early seating. We would all like to eat together for most nights. Any suggestions? Already tried to switch to anytime and was told no spots were available. The two couples with anytime are reluctant to switch to early seating. The E class dining seems to be all over the board, I'm not sure what to expect.

So it's not automatic that your spouse gets the same status? I am select on Celebrity, platinum on Royal, my husband has only been on one cruise with Royal. Obviously I didn't marry him for his status! 🤣

I just booked. Screen said it was the last stateroom. Who knows if that's true but I'll take it. $1820 for two people on a ten day cruise works for me!

Spending 3 nights on Oahu and 6 nights on Kauai. So 9 nights in Hawaii versus a 5 night cruise. Big box travel agent had great price and used Delta miles to get there. Wedding will be the second night in Kauai.

Update if anyone cares. Celebrity wanted $6k for a 20 minute ceremony with the captain, photographer (prints not included) and music from a CD player. With that outrageous price and with the terrible service from The Wedding Experience we decided to cancel the cruise and get married on Kauai. Believe it or not all in it will be less expensive and we will get a longer honeymoon!

Finally heard back from "The Wedding Experience" I am not impressed to say the least. Responsiveness is terrible. Was supposed to receive a quote yesterday and still nothing. Emailed them and got a response that they will get back to me in 3 business days. Wedding on the beach in Miami is looking like a good idea. But January on the beach in Miami could be hit or miss.

Miami is definitely an option. I'm a bit frustrated with the process as Celebrity had a phone # on their site for a third party wedding planner and when I called it they said they only do Princess cruises.

Thanks Jim unfortunately that brochure is old and the phone # just rings and rings when you call. Appears the biggest obstacle will be getting a marriage license from Malta to be able to get married by the captain at sea.

Looking for information/experience with weddings on Celebrity. Looking for small ceremony, second marriage for both of us. Put an inquiry into Celebrity and just waiting to hear back. Would appreciate any information you have!

This is a good question. I am on the Silhouette for NYE and the main dining room is pretty dismal for the occasion! I'm hoping the app is wrong. You can purchase a "fancy" NYE dinner for $130 per peron though.

Perhaps because it was a renewal? My friend I’m traveling with in January had hers approved right away also and received an updated card within a month. My daughter applied for the first time and is going to do interview upon arrival when we return from Australia.
