  1. Thanks for the feedback. If Discoveries’ food and service are like Blu, I’ll be happy. Overall, how did you like Azamara compared to Celebrity?
  2. Thank you very much for the response. This is helpful. Happy to hear Discoveries is like Blu. It was a highlight of our Millennium cruise.
  3. Hello all! We are new to Azamara and are considering a Mediterranean sailing on the Pursuit in 2024. I've been perusing the Tips for Newbies thread and have narrowed down to a few questions. We cruised with Royal Caribbean for many years, but have moved on from them. We tried Celebrity this past year and loved it. We were hoping to sail with them in the Med, but am having a hard time finding an itinerary that fits in our budget and in our timing. Azamara caught our attention because they seem to have great service and we love the port intensive itinerary. A few questions: 1. We were in AquaClass on X and loved the experience in Blu. We had a lovely server and a great bar server/sommelier with great recommendations for wines as well as cocktails. For anyone familiar with X/Blu, can we generally expect a similar experience in the Discoveries Restaurant? I understand no one can predict service levels, but just trying to get an idea of the Azamara experience. 2. The sailing we are looking at includes a Premium Beverage Package as part of the promo. I found the liquors and beers that would be included. Can you confirm what wines are included? 3. If we like to try different wines every night, should we consider upgrading to the Ultimate Beverage Package? Am I correct that it would cost us $7/person/day and that not everyone in the cabin has to upgrade? How/when would we process the upgrade? Thanks in advance!
  4. Thanks for your response. The Nordics would line up with the TA to Lisbon, as opposed to the PC/West Coast scenario.
  5. Anyone hear any chatter about what Brilliant Lady is up to for the summer of 2024? There’s a TA that puts her in Lisbon on May 1, but nothing available after that. I’m looking for a European cruise for summer 2024 and am disappointed by the Irresistible Med itinerary.
  6. I wonder if they’re going to throw another Oasis Class ship on the 3/4 night itineraries. I just looked at Allure’s pricing and it seems they’ve been able to keep them fairly high. Maybe Oasis doing 3/4 nighters in Miami and Allure doing them in PC. That frees up Freedom, which we know already. We’re missing a Saturday ship in Miami as well. Symphony? Where does Utopia go?
  7. On the Irresistible Med itinerary, it looks like they dropped Sardinia and added a sea day, but didn't even push up the arrival in Ibiza.
  8. Hey everyone! I know Resilient Lady hasn't started sailing down under yet, but has anyone been able to confirm whether some of these cruises will visit the fjords on the south island? The itinerary map and description suggest they will, but it isn't called out on the actual itinerary. I'm looking at the 02/02/2024 12 night sailing, for example.
  9. Makes sense. I knew I was never going to get to cash out on the FCC, but I was under the impression that if I cancelled the cruise, the FCC would be reissued.
  10. Thanks. No NRD listed anywhere. This FCC was originally from a NRD booking though now that I think about it.
  11. I just booked a cruise and opted for the refundable deposit, however, the following statement was included on my confirmation email: "The booking is currently subject to USD 100.00 cancellation penalties at time of this booking invoice 25 NOV 2022. This amount may increase based on the cruise penalty schedule." Could this be because I applied a $100 FCC? Are FCCs nonrefundable once applied?
  12. I haven't seen anything. I imagine it will be similar to the current Oasis Class dining rooms.
  13. Lots of sea days on her 7 night itineraries I guess it’s Oasis for me
  14. Thank you. I appreciate you sharing. Is the May 14 sailing a 5 nighter?
  15. Do you know if Voyager is going to offer a 7 night one way Barcelona to Rome? With interesting ports? Going to have to go with Oasis if not.
  16. Is anyone seeing Voyager’s sailings? I’m not seeing them.
  17. Thank you. Are you able to share the itinerary from Barcelona ?
  18. Where are you able to see the actual itineraries? I’m curious about Voyager
  19. A few test sailings are up for Europe 2024 Oasis on the 7 nighters from Barcelona Jewel returns to Amsterdam Explorer returns to Venice Voyager taking over the itineraries Enchantment is doing in 2023
  20. The sailings are scheduled to be released next week, but keep an eye out tomorrow for test sailings to be loaded on the system. One sailing for each ship usually pops up and will give you an indication of their home ports.
  21. I'd say Radiance Class or Vision Class are going to feel like the M Class. The Quantum Class are going to feel a bit like S Class. Oasis Class are great, but there are slides and carousels, etc. However, I think it's very possible to avoid those areas and spend time in Central Park, for example. Voyager and Freedom Classes are going to be smaller versions of Oasis Class. If my recent Millennium cruise was any indication, I'd say Royal is going to have more going on, more activities, and more music than Celebrity. I think Celebrity had better food and service was similar.
