  1. What location are these cabins with the noises, what category too?
  2. Wiping sweat from my face hahaha thank you.
  3. I had my coffee this morning, but for the life of me cannot find the sign up link for power up points, does anybody have it to share thanks.
  4. Hello, I just signed in our accounts, we were elite status, now says we have to work our way from the beginning, what happened, did they take away our status and have us restart all over again? Help please.
  5. Hello.......Yes, but it will be so much walking for dad, he has his cabin right outside the elevator now which allows him a few steps to the elevator instead of walking a long way to it. I was thinking of speaking to the person in charge in Blu and yes, offering to pay for him to dine there with us. It doesn't hurt to ask, I also wrote special needs and explained this situation, asking them if he can dine with us 1-3 evenings and we would go for dinner around 7:45pm a bit after the rush. I have no problem going to the dining room, but it be nice experiencing Blu for 2-3 evenings, I certainly don't want to ask for too much, not expecting every night. Your so kind thank you.
  6. I will have to forfeit going to Blu, really booked aqua to experience blu, but it doesn't work out for me this time.
  7. Yes, all the available aqua class rooms are all very aft, your right.
  8. Yes, the aqua class cabins available are all the way aft and too far from him, thank you.
  9. Hello, We are in aqua class and finally got our elderly dad to go on the cruise, only he chose the infinate verandah cabin which means he cannot dine in Blu with us. I just signed on his account and finally see move up offer, question, if I bid to move up to aqua class am I correct to think that he cannot choose his cabin? He walks with a walker and needs one of us for assistance, we need to be very close to him should he need our assistance. All the cabins available are all aft which is far from mine, and a lot of walking for him to do. What would you do? I am so confused to move him up or keep him where he is very close to us but he can't dine in Blu.
  10. That was our problem also!!!! He has to walk slow and with a walker, and needs to be by one of our sides when he walks, goes into the elevator, needs to be guided as he gets nervous not knowing where to go to get somewhere like the bathroom, etc. We are like you, we don't mind and don't consider it a burden like he thinks. Covid kept him scared (unlike me, a rebel lol) and home, he won't even go to the grocery store, we did the shopping, picked up his meds, do everything for him but we thought it was because of covid, now that covid is lets say disappeared, he now tells us the truth, he wants us to have a good time and not worry about him. Its no problem at all, in fact, my husband and I would have our down time together, as he likes to go back to the cabin to rest or take a nap between 1-4 and right after dinner he likes to go back to is cabin and relax, read, play online games on his computer and watch tv. I gave him the talk how it be nice to all be together, that we are all getting older and none of us know if we have a tomorrow. I tell him its nice to create memories together and he is depriving us of that by not coming with us. We told him we are driving to the port(we generally fly from north florida to south florida) and told him about the new muster drill that he no longer has to go somewhere and stand etc. its easy peasy. He finally said yes sunday so I booked him up immediately and told him its done. I do hope your dad reconsider and go, blessing you all.
  11. They won't allow it for a single passenger, I called and I said he pay for double, but they don't send them they said for single passengers. the cruise for him was $3600 around there for the infinite verandah, we told him 2k to get him to go, we putting in the rest of the money plus we didn't book all perks because that would of been 4888.....dad doesn't drink much, so we also paid for the premium internet package and already paid for the tips so he thinks its included. We also told him we paying for the hotel the night before the cruise. LOL You really gave great options thanks you so much.
  12. Exactly, one of my mottos is open your mouth and ask, you have no idea how many things come my way when I do. The ship is not full....I even would dine at 8pm when its not as crowded.
  13. I will ask anyways, my father in law is 86 can't see them wanting us to not experience one night of blu and leave him to dine alone. The worst that can happen is they say no. Honestly, I am looking at the menu's of Blu and the MDR and honestly I don't know why people rave about Blu the menu's are about the same, nothing special to be honest there and in the MDR since they changed the menu's in January. I am on a comp so if I don't eat there, no big deal, but would like to try it once to get a personal feel of it....we shall see.
  14. You know, it doesn't hurt to ask, thank you.
  15. Hello, we booked months out aqua class on the Beyond. We talked my elderly father in law in coming on the cruise and he finally said yes. Aqua Class was over 2k more for him, he is single/widow so he chose a regular verandah balcony. The problem, I was so excited to go to Blu and now it is a waste as I won't be going but oh well, it is what it is. I was assigned anytime dining and he is late dining which is too late for a 86 year old man and we have him waitlisted for anytime which I doubt this close to our march 19th sailing it will come through. Question, if he comes with us as we also have anytime dining and linked our two reservations together and I have chosen the dining times got my reservation in the MDR would it be possible my father in law be able to have dinner with us, say around 7:30-8:00pm even without having a reservation? Our muster station is in the casino, does anybody know where his muster station would be D1? I have a 11am check in time, and it was not available for him, he has a 12 check in time, there is no way he can go by himself, he needs one of us to help and he uses a walker, do you think they allow him to be with us at our 11am check in? I appreciate your help and thank you.
  16. That would be perfect but we got a comp with blue chip for our aqua class. You been so kind, wish that would of worked out, but blue chip probably only give us less than half of that the reason why we didn't even get a sky suite....thanks to covid, but I am back and will level up after this next cruise, thank you.
  17. We booked aqua class for the Beyond for March 19th, we just found out our elderly father in law wants to go with us only the price went up so drastically this evening for aqua class. He is able to get a regular verandah cabin, question, since we are able to dine aqua class, are we allowed to have him as our guest to dine at Blu?
  18. Hello, not making any requests, just asking her a question on something that she most likely appreciate. 🙂
  19. Hello, Two questions: 1- Does anybody know Captain Kates schedule on the Beyond, when does she leave the ship next, we hoping we see her on March 19th. 2- Does Captain Kate have a contact email address that we can contact her?
