  1. How early can you disembark celebrity cruise ship? Celebrity - what time do you have to disembark by? Our ship hits port at 6AM. While it will vary slightly by ship, and disembarkation port, the vast majority of times, all guests are off the ship by 9:30/10 am.
  2. You treat people right they treat you right and if one has the money and wants to share and help does that make me wrong?
  3. I didn't make myself clear, when I asked about a lounge I meant at the Ft. Lauderdale terminal. Call me selfish whatever you want (words do not hurt me) and if the cabin steward asked me to leave I would (it has happened on two cruises) we left when were asked. Cabin stewards cannot clean all the cabins at the same time!!
  4. Yes, hahahaha if I am still on the ship at 9:30pm as you mentioned above, I definitely will be in trouble. lol
  5. We generally leave our cabin at 9:30 and off the ship by 10am. We never heard our names called and if it were, nobody else besides my husband knows our name, we are complete strangers to everybody else. Its not that we are famous people would turn around and know who we are. Even so, I doubt that be any problem because I don't live my life on worrying what people think of me, that is the problem with society, most of society judges people and people worry what people think of them, me.....I do my thing and live my life the way I want.
  6. No worries, we tip the cabin steward very nicely each day. We must spend $700 or more extra on top of the gratuities that we pay. They work hard and need the money.
  7. For me, I do not want to stand over an hour inside the ship waiting to get off then another hour in the terminal. That is stress to me. I leave my cabin a lot later, no long lines to get off, no stress and not have the crowd in the garage of everybody leaving.
  8. Never was involved in fact, many people were getting off in back of us, we weren't the last ones by no means.
  9. Mine is missing, they obviously having internet problems.
  10. Honestly I don't see it a problem getting off the ship at 9:30pm, its not that we were the only ones, we always have many people in front and behind us getting off at this time but the line moved nicely. I don't go with the herds of cattle spending two plus hours getting off the ship and I certainly don't wake up early in the morning for a chair at the pool, that is insane, worrying for a chair and getting off the ship fast on your vacation, that is plain stress. Ridiculous. Live life as much stress free as possible, it do you good.
  11. So, they make up my room last. I am not going to stand on a two hour line like a herd of cattle to get off, sorry that isn't going to happen. Not one cruise did we have any problems, in fact, we found many others were getting off the same time, we had lines but moving very well. I live in Florida, so there is no rush to get to the airport or get to my car to have a long ride home. We never had any issue, if our cabin steward asked us to leave we would.
  12. If your on the Beyond be glad your on deck 3 too many people with balcony cabins complaining of loud all night creaking noises in their cabins.
  13. Hello, we never get up early am and out early. We never had any problems staying in our cabins, maybe because we tip extra well???? We always leave our cabin between 9:30-10am and walk off our luggage with no crowd issues to be honest.
  14. It is only for disembarkation? Not for embarkation? Thank you.
  15. Hello, We been Elite for awhile now and I just read for elite status there is a private departure lounge. I been cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale and never been told or any mention of the private lounge. Do they have one in Ft. Lauderdale and is it worth going to? Odd how nobody mentioned it to us, wonder where it is?
  16. Thank you, I heard this and saw videos of the room which the window is huge. My worries is being in the very forward of the ship, a first time for me. After hearing of all the cabins on the Beyond that have creaking noises, I chose to keep this cabin and not do a move up bid in case I got stuck with a creaking sounding cabin. I read somewhere the bathroom is a bit larger but like to have confirmation of that with somebody here to know if it is true or not. The other thing, it is a joining cabin which I never would take, and curious as to whether the walls are thin on the Beyond in this stateroom. Damn if you do damn if you don't but I think I rather have the connecting cabin than a creaking nosey cabin at night. lol
  17. Last year on the Beyond we had aqua class and went to Blu the first two evenings. We found Blu was so noisy and the tables very close together, service was unimpressive as well as the food and we could not order from the MDR menu's either. The next 6 evenings we dined at the MDR tried each one and service and food was excellent. On the Equinox, we also had aqua class and found Blu to blow away Blu on the Beyond, we had perfect overall dining experience and were given the MDR menu's also to order off of. For some reason Blu in the Equinox was less noisy and the tables not as close as it was on the Beyond. You do not have to dine in Blu, you can go to any of the MDR.
  18. I like to know myself because I booked the Beyond late February with Blue Chip and the only room available was the most expensive suite or an oceanview guarantee. Just to get on this April 27th sailing, I chose the guarantee oceanview (first time in over 25 plus years of not having a balcony which we never use anyways). Our cabin was assigned last week, 8103 very forward. I also like to hear about this cabin and which oceanview rooms people prefer and like to comment on.
  19. Hello, For those booked on guarantee basis, we are on the Beyond April 27th and were just assigned our cabin 43 days out. We booked the last cabin late February, an oceanview guarantee. We were assigned a deluxe oceanview room all the way forward on deck 8 and are very pleased. On our last three cruises we had aqua class and had bigelow products, curious to what brand shampoo/conditioner/soap the oceanview rooms have? Has anybody had any of the cabins 8109, 8107, 9103, 8101, 8100, 8102, 8104, 8106 and can comment on your experience? We also booked late and unable to get dining reservations earlier than 9pm, so decided not to reserve. Just curious how long to expect to wait for a table in the MDR having no reservations? We like to eat around 7:30pm. Thank you.
  20. Hello, We were avid cruisers of royal Caribbean and strayed to Celebrity for the past few years which we love but want to experience a combination of both royal and celebrity each year. We have some questions if you don't mind answering, again, its been a few years since we last were on a Royal Caribbean cruise. 1- We are diamond, do we have access to the diamond club on the Freedom of the Seas, and if so what time at night does it close? 2- Celebrity offers us discounts on internet and the drink package, does Royal offer discounts for diamond members for the drink and wi fi packages? 3- The Freedom is due for dry dock next April is it showing wear and tear now? 4- What time does the viking crown lounge close at night? Is there music there late at night? 5- What time does breakfast end in the MDR? 6- What brand of shampoo/conditioner/soap do they use? 7- Celebrity has the sunset bar outside and is open late at night does the Freedom have a bar open at night and if so which bar? Thank you for the help!
  21. Ok, I will hold off, today it is buy one get second half price but regular rate is 105 per person per day which makes it $78.75 per person, I will keep watch, thank you.
  22. Hello, we just booked the Freedom 8 night in December. We always get the premium drink package, but since our cruise is way out, we have time to purchase. What is a good price for the premium drink package to lock into? Right now I have a buy one get one half price, but it appears the regular price went up to $105.00 per day. This deal will be $78.75 per person per day. What price do you feel I should purchase at? Thank you.
  23. I used a casino offer and booked a room for April 27 on the beyond, the ship only had one high end suite left (still available) or an oceanview guarantee, so I took the guarantee oceanview room, still waiting to hear assignment of our cabin.
  24. Actually this cabin was booked as a comp with blue chip. My other half got aqua class and concierge offers but we wanted this particular sailing so they created a new offer while on the phone for an oceanview comp.
