Can you post reviews of Aruba and Çuracao? I'm trying to convince my grandmother to book a Southern instead of an Eastern.

The Sunshine has the Funship 2.0 upgrades when the Valor does not, I think. I would love if someone can enlighten me as to when the Valor is getting 2.0 and if it'll get the American Table.

Thank you for your input, too.

That sounded a bit rude.

Okay, thank you for your help. I was just looking for an easier way to communicate with family throughout the ship. This was the first Radio thread I have found, sorry if it was such a bother.

Hi Cruise Critic!
I've got a question. My family is planning on cruising a Carnival ship (Most likely the Liberty, Breeze, Sunshine or Valor) and I am planning on introducing a concept to them so we could keep in touch as a family. If I were to buy a Motorola Two-Way Radio, would I be able to keep in touch with my family if they were, let's say at the Serenity and I was at the aft pool?
TL;DR: I want to know if I can talk to people on a Two-Way radio if I'm at the back and the other people are at the front.
Thanks!

OK, thank you! Let's hope Vista to Miami! :)

Hi guys,
I showed my whole family the Vista and told them all about it- they would love to go already! I also told them about the Family Harbor Cabin. I have one question about that- how many can that cabin hold? I have a family of 6 (including me). Thanks!

OK, thank you. If they upgrade the Paradise, I want Guy's Burger Joint at least. ;)
-
If you don't mind me asking, what features were given to the Ecstasy during it's drydock?
-
So does that mean the Paradise won't get the upgrades either?

Hello Carnival Cruise Critic,
I remembered looking at a Carnival Funship 2.0 upgrades list and I saw the Elation on there, scheduled for October-November of 2014. Did they do the upgrades? If they did, what was added? I'm pretty sure they didn't though.

My family and I were on her in April and we loved it. Nice size ship, and very clean. Our only complaint was that the elevators always seemed broken. One would be fixed then the other would break. It was ok for me, it made me take the stairs and work off all that great food!
Throughout the whole duration of my cruise, the right-side Atrium elevator was shut down too.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is to be based in New York.

This sure is annoying... They started cutting the steel 11 months ago- Shouldn't they have provided renderings?

Went on the Paradise in June of this year- Wonderful ship, nicely kept for a 16 year old ship, loved the MDR food, great Cruise Director, the kids program was absolutely wonderful, tons of activities (personally enjoyed the Hide and Seek in the Normandie Lounge), old Twister water slide was actually better than the ones on the Spirit and Conquest class, and I thought the comedy show was hilarious. It was my favorite ship out of all the ones I've sailed on. Anymore questions, go ahead and ask! :) I would recommend this ship, but not the shows after 2.0. I've heard nothing good about Playlist production shows!!

Now all they need is Funship Bonnie or Funship Chica. (Reference to a Horror game.)

*Cough Cough* Vista Renderings Release. *Cough Cough*

It looks like a Dream class, mixed with Vista, mixed with a little Solstice. I really like this design.

Hi,
My dad wants to know if an infant (6th months) has to pay for a full price ticket like on Carnival and RCI.
Thanks,

I'm sorry, I've lost track completely. I'll continue soon though!

DEFINITELY DO IT. The Liberty is recently renovated, so it has all the Funship 2.0 upgrades. Chances are, the itinerary is great. What itinerary are you looking at exactly? That could heighten the experience. If you are easy to please, you will love Carnival. 2.0 entertainment, from what I hear, is good the first time. Food, IMHO, is great, and the service is pretty much always with a smile. The staff gives it 200% to please you. Good luck on your decision, though! :)

Yeah, NCL has 4 on order and RCI has 5. That'll be a tough act for CCL to follow.
What's the 5th one on order? I have the Anthem & Quantum, Oasis III & Oasis IV. What am I missing?

You don't open it, you save it to your desktop or a folder. Do you need help on how to change cursors?
What brings you back to the Fantasy Class?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
4 out of my 5 Carnival cruises have been on Fantasy class ships, most recently the Paradise. What brings me back is the less amount of people, so the crew can bond more with you, the shorter getaways, and the atrium. On newer ships you do get an atrium, but it does not ascend up to a humongous, beautiful skylight, as on the Fantasy class. But, the Spirit class does still have a nice skylight.
