Does anyone have a link with the list of CD? The one that was posted doesn't work.

I can't decide between Shipwreck or Cockleshell, but we will be there at the end of Jan, so I will report back 🙂

FB page said the they were closed Christmas Day but nothing else. We are going there in April and would love to visit Shipwreck if it's still open.

Glad I found this thread since we are currently looking into booking a Journey cruise in 2020. I was excited to see the ones out of Barcelona since I've always wanted to do that until I looked into flights to GET to Barcelona and thought the 14 day on the Breeze would be more reasonable. Would LOVE to ready any trip reports for this.

Carnival does not use wrist bands. They only give you one ticket for the group which you take to the desk on the island and check in. A few weeks ago they did ask me for the names and ages of who was in my group when I checked-in on HMC. I gave then 4 names and said nothing about our 5th person.
We did the same thing. We had 5 of us and I just added the sizes of the snorkel fins for the men since me and my daughters could share. Never had a issue with getting on the tender together since we all had FTTF and our food & drink were waiting for us in the cabana so no one said anything about a extra person.

We've been trying to decide between Calico Jack's & Royal Palm's. After reading some reviews, I think we're leaning more towards Royal Palm's. I saw on their website today that you can reserve your umbrella & 2 lounge chairs ahead of time. They don't charge you until you are there but nice to know that we will have chairs waiting for us.

We did catamaran sail and snorkel and it was a blast!!! I’m already back on the ship and about to nap.
We are doing that excursion in Sept. It'll be our first time doing it and glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Technically the cabanas are up to 4 people, so only 4 people in your party will get tickets that will get them on the first tender. If that matters to you, go with the villa option.

Unless you have FTTF which we did and were all able to get off the ship first thing.

How did you like the catamaran sail & snorkel? We have that booked for September.

We had 5 adults with our cabana and it was fine. I think I was the only one to hang around in there, unless we were snacking, but there was still plenty of space.

This is our first time to book on the Lido deck and I'm already finding lots of benefits to the location!
Us too!! REALLY looking forward to it.

I'm buying a bottle for our cabin, since hubby doesn't drink and Cheers wouldn't be worth the cost. Also, we have a Lido deck balcony cabin that is only a few extra steps from the bar, so no big deal to pop back to the cabin occasionally to mix a drink in my big stainless Tervis Tumbler. I plan to get extra juice in the mornings to keep in the fridge and use as mixers. I'll probably pack a flask as well.
I'm planning on doing the exact same thing. We're on Lido deck, so super easy to pop back to refill my drink. Last year on the Magic, I even filled up my water bottle with a bottle of wine and brought that to Serenity while hubby enjoyed his bucket (s) of beer :cool::cool::D

We just ordered a bottle of Seagrams today for our upcoming cruise on the Glory next weekend. Expensive, yes, but still cheaper than buying by the drink. This is the first time we've purchased a bottle on any cruise, so we'll see if it's worth it or not. (We've typically had the included drinks package on NCL, but didn't feel like forking over $800 for it on this cruise.) For the convenience alone, as well as not buying by the drink, I think it will be.
Same with us. Ordered a bottle of rum for our September cruise and I will bring coke to mix with it. Trying to get away from drinking so many of those fruity drinks and hubby is mainly a beer drinker. Plan to bring my large Tervis to mix it in so I can take to pool/walk around.

we like Sam Adams, Michelob Ultra and especially Kokanee light.
My husband did the bucket of Michelob Ultra on the Magic while we hung out in Serenity. I think you save like $2 by getting the bucket.

I did laundry on our last cruise on the Magic since we were spending a week in Orlando after. I brought my own detergent (Tide pods) and some dryer sheets (put them in a baggie) so I didn't have to pay for those. I think I started it about 7:00ish on a At Sea day and no problem getting two washers and then two dryers when done.

We've decorated our door on all our cruises

I'd be curious about this too. I looked it up on googlemaps and from Cemetery Beach back to the port area is about 5 1/2 miles and that's probably walking on the path near the street. It would take a couple of hours, so depending on your port times, might not leave you much "beach" time.

Not sure if anyone is still reading this, but here is the latest Full Flight Video of the Carnival Fascination anchored on a beautiful day March 1, 2016 in Half Moon Cay.
This video was taken with my DJI Phantom 3 with a DBS Extended Range Antenna to get out past the ship operating it from the beach.
Great video Kevin!!! A view of Half Moon Cay that we don't get to see and it was beautiful. Are you going to post anymore or was that it?

Thanks!
How would you rate Cabana #10 for shade during the day?
Shade was great in the cabana. I actually had to drag one of the chaise lounge chairs in there to get some sun since it was still early and the weather was cool. The sun never reached inside the cabana by the tables the whole time we were there. There are a bunch of trees and plenty of shade around the cabana also. We had to drag some chairs down by the water to get any sun. Hope that helps.

What time did you ship arrive and what was your ship scheduled to leave Half Moon Cay?
You noted in an earlier post that you got to the island at 8.30am and were on the tender back to the ship at 2.15pm.
Our ship doesn't arrive until 9.30 and leave until 5.30pm next Monday.
.
I'm thinking we were there from 8-3:00. I know the last tender with the employees was at 3:00 and we left shortly after that. I wish we could have been there later.

Waving heyyyyyy to another Georgia girl! You did a great job with your first review! I can't believe I've only been to Half Moon Cay once. Your pictures have me wanting to book another cruise just to go back there again. Thanks for sharing your vacation with us. :D
Thanks Gapearl! I will be checking out your trip report for the Magic since that our next cruise :D

Hi Teresa
I saw your review and just wanted to jump in and say hello. I am glad you guys enjoyed the Fascination and hope the weather was at least as good as I suggested to you last year. You did a nice job on your review hope you keep them coming.

To: Tiff 54 here is a link to the nearby River City Market Place. http://rgpt.com/property/river-city-marketplace/ It is about a mile from your hotel.
Thanks MaryAnn! The weather was definitely nicer than the Feb 2015 cruise. We're doing another one Sept 2017 with Hank (GAHawkeye) and family :o
Port Tampa parking question
in Florida Departures
Posted
This will be our first time cruising out of Tampa and we plan to park at the port. Has anyone done the valet parking? It's only $20 more and wonder if its worth the convenience. And does anyone know which terminal the Miracle will be going out of?
