  1. It’s true. Friends are onboard and confirmed. They really felt it and bottles fell off the shelves at the bar.
  2. Wow! Thank you sooo much for all your info. Much appreciated!!!
  3. Thank you everyone for your responses. I really appreciate it!! 😊
  4. Thank you everyone....I appreciate it 🙂
  5. Hi everyone....just curious what you Alaskan cruisers think.....better to cruise from Seattle or from Vancouver?.... Thanks!!!
  6. Try a Mr. Worldwide - Pitbull's drink....its vodka and champagne and I don't know what else....lol...but I love it!
  7. Well now don't just blame the tri state area.......lol.... (I'm from Jersey)....I have a feeling skanky buffet behavior happens from all ports...I even saw a member of management staff who I will not name eating fries off his/her plate while in line at the buffet.....you just cannot make it up....forget covid.....what about Noro?????
  8. You can cut all you like as long as you don't stand in line, eat your french fries, lick your fingers, wipe them on your pants and then touch the serving utensils.....I will take cutting any day over seeing THAT...which I saw more than you can imagine on my last cruise on the JOY....🤢
  9. How about the ones who eat food off their plates in the buffet line, lick their fingers, wipe them on their clothes and then use the serving utensils? Sickening that people are so inconsiderate after all we have been through with this pandemic.
  10. And the ironic thing is very few people are wearing masks on the island both in restaurants and in shops the only place we were forced to wear a mask was actually in the cruise terminal. So I agree that the BTA approval is all about the $. I can tell you that not even the employees at snorkel Bay or the frog and onion were wearing masks. Maybe Bermuda owes ME $40. Lol
  11. Yes please wear your mask don’t make the mistake I did. I had a false sense of security and did not wear a mask on my recent Joy cruise and ended up getting Covid as did my husband and my daughter. We cruised on the Gem at Thanksgiving and we wore our masks and nobody in our party got Covid. Granted we were in the Garden Villa but we were out and about around the ship as well. As I said in another thread I’m not blaming anyone it’s the chance we take when we cruise and I took an even bigger chance by not wearing a mask. I learned my lesson it’s not 2018. Lol. Go on your cruise and have a wonderful time but definitely wear your mask!!
  12. Ty for the well wishes 😊. Had a rough day yesterday but feeling a little better today. I think I let my guard down with the mask wearing because I was under the assumption that everyone had to test negative to be on the ship and had to be vaccinated so I had a false sense of safety. It came from somewhere so either someone brought it onboard or it was already onboard. This is the chance we take so no one to blame. I just think that all the pre-cruise stress I/we all were under to test negative get the Bermuda travel authorization approved etc. was not worth coming home with Covid so I think I will reevaluate my fall cruise.
  13. Hi mk. We were on the joy sailing the week after you. Tuesday we all felt sick and are all positive as are quite a number of people we met on the ship. I don’t think I will sail again for quite some time. 🫤. Glad you and yours are feeling better.
  14. Hope you are 100% soon!! I kinda think it was still worth it. I just wish we hadn’t run around like it was pre-pandemic 2018 lol.
  15. Oh no! How long do you have to stay in Italy?
  16. Gm dc. Tested positive this morning. How long were you sick and are you still positive?
  17. Off the Joy 5/22 (yesterday) and hubby and daughter tested positive today. Mild symptoms I tested negative but going for pcr because I feel that’s a false negative as I feel mildly sick. I think we were a little too lax with our mask wearing 😞
