Just read a thread that the deck 12 port side smoking area on the Dawn is now in closed. Been on the Dawn 10 cruises and booked for 14 days in Oct

Can anyone confirm? Trying to decide if we should cancel, tired of being treated as a second class cruiser

I have been on both the Breakaway and Dawn, entirely different ships, you can find many quiet places on deck 13,port ,starboard and forward, although mostly in sunny areas. Also many interior windows on decks 6 (near casino) and 7. There is also an area on deck 9 over the Atrium. The Dawn is a great ship we will be on her next to last trip out of Boston IN Oct have a great cruise

Does anyone have experience purchasing and or using just medical insurance either for a single cruise or yearly. Don't need cancellation, trip delay, just medical for any onboard emergency.

Most information is correct use my NCL to reserve. I have ordered extra appetizer and just told them to bill me but have always been comped. I do always add a tip when using the dinner coupons. If you have UBP you can take your wine with you.

I am a dedicated platinum NCL cruiser, and enjoy the fact that the cruises are casual. Unfortunately today people are so self centered and it's all about me attitude that they push any reasonable rules to the extreme. On all of my past 16 cruises the only rude people I have ever experienced was my fellow passengers. I grant you that dress is not a reason to have someone spoil your dinner but it does show the ignorance of the offender to assimilate into society. This is generally why I only take longer cruises always when school is in session to avoid unsupervised children, wild spring breakers, and large family cruisers.

Ok to smoke on your balcony just bring the worst smelling strongest and cheapest perfume you can find go on the balcony spray it all over then enjoy

Move on and enjoy your cruise. You are not responsible to be a smoking cop for NCL it's their problem not yours. Look for the log in your eye before complaining about the sliver in someone else's eye

I really can't believe that there is so much angst over a $0.51/person/day increase in the DSC. Remember that it is shared with many people who work very hard to please you!

Could be very cool leaving Boston, water temp will be in the 50 degree range until you get into the gulf stream. Bermuda temps will vary cool at night suggest you bring sweatshirts and spring jacket you can always layer and remove as needed. Check for weather outlook on Bermuda wed site

Once you have made your final payment, log into myncl (register if you have to).on your medics there will be a PRINT LIGGAGE TAGS just select how many you want and click hope this is what you need

You do not have to make show reservations but I highly recommend that you do at 90days before. They usually let those with reservations in first then if space is available open to others. You can always modify dinner and show reservations right on you tv.

As platinum cruisers we are on the April 8th Panama canal cruise. Can anyone advise on the boarding process at the cruise port. I have read that there is a line to check in luggage, never been subjected to a line always arrived with luggage tags attached and handed the luggage over to a porter. Do they not have porters at the cruise port? Does anyone know why departure is at 5 and not the usual 4pm

It is my experience that they do not carry Winston brands. I believe that they only offer Phillip Morris brands(ie Marlboro.] I have substituted marlboro gold on cruiser. Hope this helps

I am looking for information on who offers a free shuttle from the port to the rental agents and allows a return to ft Lauderdale airport. Thanks

We are ending our cruise on the star in Ft Lauderdale on Sunday April 22nd and due to hight flight cost to our home state we will not fly until Tuesday am. Can any reccomend things to do in the area.
