  1. Personally I think this is a step in the right direction, sure it's just drinks up too $11, but it isn't a promo per se, and wouldn't it be combinable with other promos? Who knows if this will be successful but if it is maybe we will see this fleet wide down the road

  2. I confess I'm still having withdrawal symptoms for our Haven suite, it's like that girlfriend you never forget and can never mention in the presence of your wife.

So how is 16704, anyone sailed in her recently - if so you had better be nice to her :D

Seriously - any new Getaway Haven reports ?

  3. How was the spa cabin itself? We didn't think it would be a good cabin choice with the kids, because even though my kids behave very well, they are still 8 and 10 year old kids, and we all know that all kids could get loud. I wouldn't want to ruin part of anyone's cruise who is in a spa cabin expecting it to be a quieter area on the ship. So we didn't even price it. We also have more space with two connecting cabins (which we booked for July) than if we were in one balcony cabin or even a mini suite in the spa area. There aren't any connecting spa cabins, and that also indicated to us that it's not the right choice for families with children.

Have you ever given any thought to a 2bedroom suite? Perfect for families, and utilizes real doors for privacy and noise, for the parents and children alike

  4. They do this in the dining rooms and restaurants: They bring you all the charge slips to sign at the end, often with several drinks on the same slip. But I've never asked them to do this at a bar on board. I don't mind signing after each order and letting them close out the transaction and forget about me until my next order, and I'm sure it's simpler for them that way, too.

Fair enough, thanks for the answer

  5. Hello. I'm thinking of cruising on NCCL for the first time on the Jade from Houston. I was just wondering do they have transfers from the (IAH) airport to the port? I know that it is over an hour so a taxi would be outrageous. I was wondering what most do.

Thanks in advance for your help!

We are also making this trip, what dates are you going?

  6. Will OP return and post, or will this be one of those threads with 500 posts telling the OP how wonderful their writing style is with no follow-up?

Let's get the show on the road already... SOGOTP.

  7. The common area includes a hydro-therapy thalassotherapy pool which combines the restorative properties of saltwater with invigorating massage jets to create the ultimate relaxation experience. Also, heated ceramic loungers and loungers enjoying sea views out of the floor to ceiling windows. Talking is not allowed in this area.

Not allowed?? If you and your partner are the only two in there I'm sure you won't be banned

  8. So the question arises' date=' why the strong loyalty? I mean for me, all things being equal, I'll take Princess, but all things are never equal and I will and have sailed HAL, X, NCL, RCI, Costa and even CCL. All these lines, while providing a similar basic cruise experience, have enough differences to make the comparison a good topic for discussion.[/quote']

I suppose it comes down to people's experiences, taste, and the little things onboard that would create a pleather of differences more than enough for debate and comparison
