We will be getting married in 3 weeks on the Celebrity Apex. Sadly, our experience with the Wedding Consultant from The Wedding Experience has not been ideal.

I have searched for the answer but no luck. We will be sailing on the Apex in 3 weeks. Is the Magic Carpet a stand alone restaurant at night or is it an extension of Raw of 5? I read a review of dining on CC that listed it as a stand along restaurant but everything else points to it being a part of Raw on 5. Thanks

Thanks. Since this is a 2nd marriage for both of us, the dress is more of an evening gown and won't be "professionally" packed.

Great advice on the dress. I had not thought about the limo idea. I was going to get a car service anyway so going to a limo isn't a huge jump. Thanks for info on the butler.

We will be in a Sky Suite in 5 weeks on the Apex. We will be getting married on Embarkation Day and my fiancee is worried about her dress being wrinkled. We are bringing a travel steamer to the hotel but know it won't be allowed onboard. Would the host be able to get it steamed in the event it does have wrinkles? Also, Eden is already sold out. Would the host be able to get us in or should we ask the shoreside concierge? Thanks.

EM, I looked there but it was not very helpful so I tried the main Celebrity board.

They have companies that coordinate it all for you. It will be my bride and i and four non-sailing guests. They get to board with us but have to depart before the ship sails.

We are booked on the Apex in a sky suite on Deck 10 Forward. Another sky suite on Deck 12 aft just opened up. The deck 12 aft suite is actually on the stern of the ship. My girlfriend tends to get sea sick, but has never been on a ship the size of the Apex. Should I switch to the Deck 12 aft suite or keep the one on Deck 10?

Looks like they only have singles thermal passes for my sailing. I wonder if the couples passes have sold out.

I've cruised over Thanksgiving several times, but this is first on Celebrity and first in a suite. Do they serve traditional turkey and sides on Thanksgiving?

That’s what I figured. It was just weird to have it say Shore Excursion AND OBC

Just upgraded to the Sky Suite on the Apex. The offer says Shore Excursion AND OBC. Our TA spent an hour on the phone with Celebrity and their reps were clueless on the promo details. Does anyone know if you get ONE credit (in our case $600) to use for both OBC and Shore Excursions or if it is two separate credits?

Loving your review. Thinking about switching to a Sky Suite (currently in Concierge) for our upcoming cruise.

We are sailing on the Apex over Thanksgiving and are looking at getting a specialty dining package. My question is, how does it work with Raw on 5 since that is an a la carte restaurant? I've searched the forums and read through the Celebrity web site but do not see an answer.
