Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. They stay in the buffet. Just kidding. They are either in the medical center or on a crew deck, usually under the supervision of the ships security team until the Coast Guard arrives.
  2. Going back through your pictures (after reading the whole review). Have they removed the lobster roll from the first day lunch menu at Luminae? That was my favorite.
  3. I did a private tour to the Baths about 10 years ago and had a great time. On our honeymoon on Apex in 2022, we had to take the Celebrity tour and I cannot agree more. It was challenging with all 150 other guests.
  4. We are looking at doing Chef's Table for our upcoming Edge cruise in the Med. Did you end up doing it? If so, where was the dinner held?
  5. We were married in November on Apex and were able to get all of the digital images for around $900. We had several hundred pictures.
  6. The wedding went off without issue, but the consultant was bad. I’m out of town but I will look and see if I have another way to contact them when I get home.
  7. We will be sailing the Med in August on the Edge. I noticed that Portofino and Cannes are Tender ports. We are in a suite but there was a caveat that priority tendering for suites is NOT in all ports. Does anyone know if there is priority tendering for those ports?
  8. I had to ask our stateroom attendant for towels. He got them to us very quickly and we left them on the balcony when we returned.
  9. His adult show was very good. We laughed throughout. Sometimes the adult shows are nothing but expletives. This was not the case for Ralph's show. He told adult jokes but it was not filled with vulgarity. It was really good.
  10. BeeMinor and WTH, We were on the same sailing. This was our first time in the Retreat and had a fantastic experience. I agree with you about Eden and Rooftop. We had fantastic dinners there. We were less impressed with Le Grand Bistro. We also both enjoyed Ralph Harris and went to his adult show as well. Liz in the Retreat was super helpful to us. We may have just been in there at separate times. I agree that the Retreat pool was very busy and I was often frustrated by the chair hogs. Especially those that put stuff on the Gazebo chairs and left it there for HOURS without ever going back to it. Not sure if we ran into either one of you. We were the newlyweds with the funny t-shirts
  11. We are on the Apex and are in a Sky Suite. We have an 11 AM flight out of FLL and also have TSA precheck. Should we carry off our luggage or can we get in the first disembarkation group? We also arranged a private transfer to the airport (currently set for 8:30 but I can adjust if needed). I'm also familiar with FLL. I lived there for 20 years.
  12. We are doing it on the Apex on the 22nd. I've done a similar tour several years ago with a private company. We did not find the swim difficult.
  13. PTC, so if I understand you correctly, if I pre-purchase table games credit, say $300, I'll get promo chips of $300 plus the 10% bonus, and anything I win will be paid back in chips I can cash in. Do I get that right?
